Apple has just released an update to their phone software, with High dynamic range photography built in (HDR takes an over and under exposed shot as well and uses them to get better exposures of brighter and darker parts of your image). This is my first proper chance to play with HDR, so I’ve had a bit of fun around the building today. One cool thing is that the camera produces an HDR image in pretty much real time, and it keeps a basic exposure image as well, so if HDR looks bad, then you can go back to regular exposure.
